29.05.18
Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust

This course develops essential skills for looking after yourself, your team and your patients

Do you worry that you are working so hard that you haven’t got anything left to give?
Are there moments when you wish that some of your colleagues could see things from your perspective or that the system you work in was more supportive?
Would you like to find ways to feel less stressed by your workload?

This one day course explores positive ways to revitalise life at work, improve channels of communication, build resilience and begin to create a more supportive working environment.

The workshop today was excellent! I am really glad I was able to attend.  Everyone should do it!!” Past participant – Haemostasis & Thrombosis Nurse

All members of the GSTT clinical care team (including nurses and nurse assistants, allied health professionals, doctors, healthcare support and administrative staff) are invited to investigate practical ways to look after yourself and each other in order to improve patient safety and experience and to feel more connected to your motivations for working in healthcare.

The simulated scenarios we will use in the training have been developed based on interviews with teams working on the wards of GSTT.

Please note this course is only open to staff at Guys & St Thomas’ Trust.
