Bella Eacott

Bella is responsible for developing the content of Performing Medicine courses and research projects. She studied History and Philosophy of Science at University College London, and Medical Humanities (MSc) at King’s College London. Her research interests are focused on conceptions of healthcare as an embodied practice, and the ways that undergraduate and professional healthcare training can address and reflect these embodied aspects. She has published articles in leading journals including Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society and the BMJ’s Medical Humanities and has presented at national and international conferences.
