The use of wax for replicating skin, flesh and the complexities of anatomical structures dates back several centuries. In this practical session, Eleanor Crook will show how to sculpt the anatomy of the head and neck in wax, including anatomical structures such as tendons, veins and skin. The workshop will also include an introduction to historical examples from museum collections. Materials will be provided.
