For over fifteen years, Performing Medicine has co-designed innovative modules with medical school staff on themes such as diversity and unconscious bias as part of the core curriculum, as well as offering 1-to-1 support for students on a referral basis.
In 2018/19 we provided more than 80 training sessions for 1,235 medical students. Across our evaluations, over 90% of students report that they enjoyed the training, that they would recommend it to a friend, and that the courses helped them to develop new skills.
“It helped me to be more aware of myself and how I come across to others. I have identified my strengths and weaknesses and know which areas to improve on. Very insightful.”
