Since 2014, Performing Medicine has worked closely with Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Trust.
Working in collaboration, we developed a bespoke new framework for compassionate care called Circle Of Care.
In 2019, 868 staff members across Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital engaged directly with Circle of Care events and courses, including nurses, health visitors, ward managers, consultants, clinical psychologists and administrative staff. The ripple effect of the programme has been felt across the hospital and a study of the project was published in The Lancet.
96% of participants said they expected to make use of specific ideas or techniques in their clinical work.
