NHS Confederation showcases our work with Swansea Bay University Health Board

NHS Confederation, the only membership body that brings together, and speaks on behalf of the whole health and social care system across England, Northern Ireland and Wales, has published an article which showcases our most recent work in Wales.

One of our colleagues, Prue Thimbleby, arts in health co-ordinator at Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB), explains how Performing Medicine has led a successful arts-based training pilot programme, in collaboration with SBUHB and Swansea University, that has helped improve the mental health and wellbeing of staff.

Thank you to Prue for sharing the impact of the programme on the NHS staff involved in the pilot, and how it has helped staff deal with the pressures of the pandemic.
