Performing Medicine in New Statesman

The work of Performing Medicine has been acknowledged in an article from New Statesman.

The piece covers the strain that health and social care workers have been under during the pandemic, and uses Performing Medicine’s work with Swansea Bay as a case study of good practice. Andrea Bradley, nurse at Swansea Bay University Health Board says,

“I was absolutely blown away by the way [Performing Medicine] interacted with me, how they made me reflect and supported me,” says Bradley. The days were a big success with the nurses that attended. “They felt cared for, supported, understood and given the permission to reflect and realise they had been through so much.””
