Working in healthcare environments is physically, mentally and emotionally demanding. Often healthcare professionals are so focused on looking after their patients that they forget to look after themselves.

Drawing on a recent pilot of Performing Medicine in Swansea, a panel of practitioners working across medicine and the arts will discuss how ‘self-care’ for healthcare professionals has a fundamental role in compassionate care and patient outcomes.
