This live online course aims to inform, inspire and open up possibilities for cultural social prescribing. It will provide social prescribers with the skills, knowledge and confidence to have conversations with clients about the health and wellbeing benefits of engaging with arts & culture, facilitating access to opportunities in their local area.
“I think I had written off these sorts of [arts-based] groups for some individuals before these sessions. The course has made me rethink and reflect on lots of people who I missed an opportunity to refer out to such groups so far.” – Social Prescribing Link Worker
Delivered via 3 x 2.5 hour live online modules over the course of 3 weeks, the course invites groups of 20-25 social prescribing professionals to learn together in a warm and empathic environment.
A variety of interactive and engaging learning approaches will inform, inspire and open up possibilities for social prescribing to arts & culture.
All course delegates will also be given exclusive access to a range of resources from clinical research to case studies to support your learning via our online portal.
This course is suitable for any social prescribing professional who has previously completed their induction training in social prescribing.
